Greetings,
My name is Nick Kolterman, and I am writing you regarding my recently established non-profit, Suncatcher Ministries. This non-profit organization was founded in the Summer of 2023 after seeing a need for more opportunities of growth for veterans and troubled youth. My newly established non-profit will hold retreats three times a year. These retreats will have group speakers, fun activities on the property such as fishing, and group building activities. As marginalized populations, they are often overlooked and it is essential to provide them with the necessary support to overcome their challenges and thrive. Through the Word of Christ and bringing them together in the outdoors, we will provide much-needed assistance and support to these vulnerable populations.
This past Summer I had the opportunity to meet Dylan Lesselyoung, the founder of Wheelchair Adventures. After speaking with him about the hunts he has done because of track chairs, I decided the newest addition to my property out in Fedora, SD would be a fully ADA accessible lodge for paraplegics and quadriplegics. This would allow veterans who were wounded in the line of duty to attend our veteran retreats. We will also be able to provide paralyzed individuals with the tools and equipment they need to enjoy the great outdoors during the hunting season through the use of track chairs.
I am beyond excited to launch this campaign because it gives individuals the opportunity and ability to do something they enjoy. More importantly, I am excited to be serving these two groups because veterans deserve to be recognized for their sacrifices and youth are the future of our society.
As a potential donor, you should be aware of what my organization is doing, and I would like to meet with you so we can discuss more about this non-profit and what it can offer for veterans and troubled youth. It is important to us that this is done on your terms, so if you are interested in more information, don’t hesitate to reach out!
As with any newly launched project/organization, expenses will be incurred. If you didn’t know, I also own Suncatcher Acres in Fedora, SD which is where two of my hunting lodges are located and where the new ADA accessible lodge will go. Suncatcher Ministries needs your assistance in constructing the new lodge for paralyzed individuals. If you would like to make a contribution, we have a page on our website where you can make the donation. Our organization looks forwards to hearing from you soon and possibly forming a partnership with you!
If you know anyone who is a veteran, a troubled youth, or someone that is paraplegic/quadriplegic, let them know about our non-profit so we can get in touch with them and create an unforgettable experience!
Best regards,
Nick Kolterman
